In the light of recent news that the twatty rich son of a now deceased twat has burned a few million quids worth of punk memorabilia, plenty of articles will be harking back to the first time anyone pulled a stunt like this to point out that Malcolm Mclaren‘s and Viviene Westwood’s son is not just a twat, he is an unoriginal twat.
For those who aren’t familiar with James Cauty’s previous work as part of The KLF and that time when they burned a million quid, it’s a lot easier to champion the social merits of his most recent work, The Aftermath Dislocation Principle.
Contained in a large shipping crate, punctured with numerous viewing holes, the project, first unveiled at Dismaland depicts a dystopian diorama of urban Britain after nearly a decade of austerity.
If you’ve missed #AdpRiotTour, ending at the Panacea Society, Bedford, December 23rd, Sounds is taking advantage of Mr. Cauty’s massive media archive to give you a glimpse inside the model village of your nightmares.
